Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
Perch ("we," "us," or "our") operates callperch.com and provides missed-call text-back services for local businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, business name, booking link, phone carrier, and setup preferences you provide during signup.
- Call and messaging data: caller phone numbers, timestamps, message delivery status, and estimated recovery metrics shown in your dashboard.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- Provide missed-call text-back and dashboard services
- Configure and operate your dedicated Perch phone number
- Send service-related emails (setup links, alerts if enabled)
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with carrier requirements
SMS and your customers
When your business misses a call, Perch sends a single transactional text to the caller on your behalf. Callers opt in by initiating contact — they called your business. Every message includes opt-out instructions (Reply STOP). We do not sell customer phone numbers or use them for unrelated marketing.
See our SMS Policy for full details.
Third parties
We use Twilio to deliver phone and SMS services. Twilio processes caller numbers and message content as our infrastructure provider. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data retention & deletion
We retain account and call data while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings (sign in with your email first). Deletion removes your account data and releases your Perch phone number.
